Upcycled Storage Containers

Is your 2015 New Year’s resolution is to be more organized while spending less? Mines sure is, and I’m going to show you how we can meet both goals by upcycling empty cans, jars, and boxes in our homes, schools, or offices with decorative paper and ribbons. You’ll be able to affordably organize your bathroom counter or the bookshelves in your office with just a few supplies.

Visit your local Dollar store to purchase clear self-adhesive vinyl, wrapping paper, and ribbon.

Directions:
Gather empty cans, oatmeal containers, shoeboxes, and jars from around your house; clean and dry them.
Cover each container with decorative wrapping paper and seal with self-adhesive vinyl.
Trim both the wrapping paper and the vinyl so that they are the same size as the container you’re wrapping. Finish your design by wrapping the containers with coordinated ribbon.
With a few simple steps and a little time, you’re on the right track to maintain your New Year’s resolution this year!
